Cops, Kids & Toys began in the early 1980s when two Ithaca City Police officers were moved to provide holiday toys to a few children and families in need.

​Today, our volunteers come from every law enforcement agency in Tompkins County, the Tompkins County Probation Department, numerous local businesses, and many local citizens.


As the number of families in need continues to grow, supporters of Cops, Kids & Toys have risen to the challenge by volunteering their time, and with their generous monetary contributions and toy donations.


No donation is too small to put a smile on a child's face. Monthly gifts are an easy and affordable way to make a difference all year round.  Thank you for your thoughtful and kind generosity!

To make a gift by check or via donor-advised fund (DAF), please make the check payable to Cops, Kids and Toys Inc. and mail to PO Box 519, Dryden, New York 13053. Alternatively you may drop off a check at any Tompkins County law enforcement agency office, or at the Tompkins County Probation Department. Thank you for giving as generously as you can!

Provide Yarn


The Pew Knitters are a caring group who knit and crochet hats, mittens, scarves, blankets, and slippers for the children we serve. Yarn donations are welcomed!
