Cornell Athletics Teams Up with Cops, Kids & Toys for December Food Drive
December 3, 2025

Come to the Game, Bring Shelf-Stable Food to Donate!

Cornell University Athletics is rallying fans this December to support neighbors across Tompkins County who are experiencing food insecurity. At four home games this month, fans are invited to bring shelf-stable food items to help fill local food pantries during a time of year when demand spikes and donations often drop.

Cops, Kids & Toys is partnering with Cornell Athletics to make sure every donation reaches families who need it most. While admission and the spirit of cheering on Big Red athletes are reason enough to attend, these games also offer an easy way to give back. If you can, toss a few canned or boxed items in your bag before heading to the arena. Every contribution helps.

What to Bring

Shelf-stable, unopened items. Examples: canned vegetables and fruit, pasta, rice, peanut butter, soup, beans, cereal, boxed meals, baby food, and other nonperishables.

Upcoming Food Drive Collection Games
  • Dec. 5, 6 pm: Women’s Ice Hockey vs. Quinnipiac
  • Dec. 6, 1 pm: Women’s Basketball vs. Quinnipiac
  • Dec. 6, 3 pm: Women’s Ice Hockey vs. Princeton
  • Dec. 9, 7 pm: Women’s Basketball vs. Army

If you can’t attend, you can also make a monetary contribution using the QR code on the event graphics or at https://givebutter.com/2025CKTFoodDrive

This season, show your Big Red spirit on and off the ice and court by helping ensure every family in our community has enough to eat. Thank you for your generosity!
